When we heard about a woman that was doing a project about the Camino de Santiago, we were very interested as we have walked it twice ourselves. We went to Avon, CT to the Farmington Valley Arts Center and met Cindy Ingram and she shared her story with us. Not only has Cindy raised two children on her own, but she was able to put herself through college at the same time. She is also a survivor of domestic violence. Cindy demonstrates that with tenacity, every person can persevere and make a difference not only in her life but in the lives of others. We are grateful that she candidly shared her story so that others can be empowered and inspired to be a force of positive influence.
